Speech Board is a voice-to-text keyboard application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

Speech Board does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

What we DO NOT collect:

• Voice recordings
• Transcribed text
• Usage analytics
• Personal information
• Device identifiers
• Location data

What stays on your device:

• Your OpenAI API key (stored securely in the device keychain)
• App preferences and settings (language, writing style, tools configuration)
• Debug logs (if enabled by you, stored locally only)

Third-Party Services

OpenAI API

Speech Board sends your voice recordings directly to OpenAI’s Whisper API for transcription. This connection is made using your own API key. Speech Board does not act as an intermediary and has no access to your API communications.
